The production of Greengridz requires

fewer raw materials compared to traditional worktops. It creates a relatively smaller ecological footprint, but boasts even more green features: the production process is also environmentally friendly. It is FSC certified and the base material is Carb2 certified. In addition, since Greengridz is a lightweight material, it requires less fuel to transport. As a result, the total amount of CO2 emissions is reduced throughout the production process. And it doesn't stop there, it's also more cost-effective than regular base materials!

CARB2-certified
The base material of Greengridz meets the strict standards for compound wood products, as set by the California Air Resources Board (CARB). This means that the emission of formaldehyde is well within the limits (that is: less than 0.08 ppm). Greengridz is one of the first materials to meet these high requirements.

Recyclable and biodegradable
Greengridz is 100% recyclable. The work surface material is completely biodegradable. The PVAc B3 glue used is environmentally friendly!
