When rotated around its own axis, the oval shape becomes a soft and tight volume \u2013 like an egg. We wanted the soft oval and the tight two-dimensional drawing of the oval to meet. The knob is soft and welcoming from the front, and you see the thin outline of the oval on the back of the design.
